For Immediate Release – Monday, May 13, 2019 -- Legendary comedic actor John Cleese (Monty Python's Flying Circus, Fawlty Towers and A Fish Called Wanda) will return to Winnipeg this fall for a debut performance of his critically acclaimed 2013 show Last Time To See Me Before I Die. This not-so-usual show includes stories and exclusive clips from his colourful life and illustrious 40-year career told from his own comedic perspective. The most influential and important comedic voice in entertainment history, John Cleese began his current Canadian tour in Halifax on May 5th and will visit 12 more cities across Canada this month. The announcement of the Winnipeg appearance comes on the heels of the 40th anniversary of Monty Python's iconic film Life of Brian.
