The Czech folk flavor in orchestral music found its place with two eminent composers: Bedřich Smetana and Antonín Dvořák, both of whom beautifully expressed their home-land's special blend of melody and dance. Smetana's fiery Overture to his opera The Bartered Bride is paired with Dvořák's Sixth Symphony for a perfect taste of the two greatest musical spokespeople of their country.
