WCD's Fall Professional Development Classes

WCD provides professional development classes for advanced and professional level dancers annually. For fall 2019, we are thrilled to engage Winnipeg teachers Paula Blair, Ali Robson, and Johanna Riley to teach open classes; partner with Young Lungs and Company Link to present Guest Artist, Alanna Kraaijveld, for a five-day workshop in Fighting Monkey technique; and present classes led by Artistic Director, Jolene Bailie. All classes are help at The Rachel Browne Theatre. Studio opens 15-20 minutes prior to start times for dancer warm-ups.

*Fighting Monkey technique is an evolving movement practice centred on context driven, collaborative practices that prioritize communication, intuition and whole body co-ordination through play to accelerate skill development.
