Creative Manitoba: Digital Media, Production Training Course and Apprenticeship Opportunities for Indigenous Women, November 2 -30
Digital Media, Production Training Course and Apprenticeship Opportunities for Indigenous Women
Date: Saturdays from November 2 to November 30
Location: Creative Manitoba
Creative Manitoba is very pleased to partner with Erica Daniels of Kejic Productions to present Digital Media Production Training and Apprenticeship Opportunities for Indigenous Women. Participants will learn producing, directing, camera operation, audio, lighting, and editing in this 4-day interactive training program. Participants who successfully complete the training will also receive part-time on-the-job apprenticeship opportunities working on a wide range of productions with Kejic Productions.
Kejic is an Anishinaabe word, which means The Sky. The name was given by Elder Dave Courchene Jr., which symbolizes there are no limits to what we can dream and achieve. We are in a time where we as Indigenous people, the original peoples of our homeland, need to be telling our own stories and representing the Indigenous voices and perspectives.
All workshops will be held in the 4th floor large classroom of Creative Manitoba at 245 McDermot Ave. This 4 day course is being offered fully subsidized to selected participants. TO APPLY, please send a resume and cover letter DIRECTLY to firstname.lastname@example.org expressing your interest, passion for storytelling, any previous experience, and how this opportunity will benefit you!
