Manitoba 150: Seeking submissions from artists and graphic designers to design the MB150 Medal and Neck Ribbon for the Honour 150 program, Deadline January 31
Next year marks the 150th anniversary of the province of Manitoba, and all throughout next year, the Manitoba 150 Host Committee will be conducting various events, initiatives and programs throughout the province to celebrate our provinces heritage, history and accomplishments.
One of our programs is titled "Honour 150" , which aims to inspire future community engagement and leadership by recognizing individual Manitobans for their outstanding contributions to the well-being of their communities. In commemoration of Manitoba's 150th anniversary, it is fitting to celebrate Manitobans who are committed to giving back to and enriching the place we live, work, and play.
The Manitoba 150 Host Committee will strike the MB150 Medal to honour 150 Manitobans from across the province who are quietly making a difference in their community.
The Manitoba 150 Host Committee has an exciting opportunity for Manitoba artists and/or graphic designers to submit their qualifications for consideration to design the front side of a unique, commemorative medal to be given to Honour 150 recipients.
Manitoba 150 is seeking:
● Submissions from recognized artists or graphic designers who are residents of Manitoba to design the obverse (front side) of the MB150 Medal and Neck Ribbon for the Honour 150 program. At this time, we are asking for portfolios and general concept of a design only. We are NOT asking for the design of the Medal and Neck Ribbon .
I have attached the Call for Submission documents (French & English) for you to spread throughout your organization. These documents and further information can be found at our website https://manitoba150.com/en/programs/honour-150/
