School of Art Gallery: Performance by Ali Robson, March 11

In conjunction with the exhibition, Dancing with Tantalus, Ali Robson will present a performance responding to the themes, conversations, metaphors, and theories that have shaped the exhibition's development.
Ali Robson is a dance artist who works in both dance and theatre and is curious about collaborating across disciplines and creating work with and for people of all ages. She has worked as a dancer, teacher, choreographer, rehearsal director, movement coach and collaborator since graduating from the School of Contemporary Dancers in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 2004. Ali is a collective member of Weather Parade Dance Theatre and has worked as the Associate Artistic Director of Company Link since 2015. Ali teaches movement at the University of Winnipeg and contemporary dance and moving meditations at community centres in Winnipeg through Graffiti Art Programming.
