Manitoba Research Alliance: Open Call for Indigenous Voice-Over Talent

The Manitoba Research Alliance is producing an educational audio series that examines the historical role of Indigenous activists in the development of Indigenous movements and organizations in Winnipeg. The central element of this project consists of thematic narratives derived from archival audio interviews featuring first-hand oral histories as told by Indigenous activists in Winnipeg - documenting their activism from the 1960's through the 1990's.

The project will require experienced Indigenous voice-over artist/s, working from script, to narrate each episode. The production preference stylistically favors a mature female voice; an "authentic" voice. unique. genuine. personable.

All submissions, female and male voices, will be thoroughly reviewed and seriously considered.

Production begins this summer.
