Voice Intensive 2017: Voice + Body + Shakespeare, Application Deadline February 28
Join us in the research of breath, body, presence, action and the robust rhetoric of Shakespeare. Participants ranging from advanced students to senior professionals will develop and refine skills to enliven their practices. The program provides a rare and unique pedagogical training ground for voice teachers and teachers-in-training who wish to deepen their understanding of the multidisciplinary approach.

This program is intended for those seeking to examine the foundations of voice and body, as well as those who wish to extend and deepen their personal practice in a dynamic and supportive atmosphere. The four week programme allows for extended time to engage in personal research and embody discoveries through performance, culminating in an integrated practice.
3-week program - May 22 to June 10, 2017 - $2,100 CDN Reflect. Reawaken. Reactivate
This advanced program is intended for Voice Intensive alumni and advanced professionals and educators. Offering a supportive environment, participants identify and address individual voice and acting challenges. Emphasis is placed on encouraging personal agency in all aspects of the work. Primary focus on text and performance will be realized through the application of voice and movement principles and practices.
A background in Shakespeare is not necessary. Nor is it required that English be your language of origin. The Voice Intensive invites and honours people of all nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
