Description: The Manitoba Rural and Northern Juried Art Show is an
annual exhibition that highlights the creative accomplishments of rural
artists across Manitoba. The exhibit introduces Winnipeg audiences to
the artistic work generated by visual artists from beyond the perimeter
(Eastman, Westman, Central, Parkland, Northern and Interlake Regions). A
diverse range of media (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture,
ceramics and textiles) is exhibited. Artists are invited to participate
after being selected as winners in their regions¹ juried art show.

The Manitoba Arts Network is a not for profit, charitable arts service
organization. We Connect, Showcase, and Promote Visual and Performing
Artists with Communities across Manitoba. The Network is dedicated to
connecting Manitoba¹s communities by celebrating and sharing the arts.
The Manitoba Arts Network also puts on an annual conference called
Manitoba Showcase which takes place in October at a different Manitoba
location every year. This year it is in Russell, MB October 19-22, 2017.
