Library Gallery: Cliff Eyland: Recent Works, October 6 - November 3

Library Gallery (AKA L'briary) a Winnipeg gallery, will open an exhibition entitled Cliff Eyland: Recent Works at 540-70 Arthur Street, Winnipeg.

Library Gallery (L'briary) has been on hiatus since Cliff Eyland had a double lung transplant in November 2016, but it will reopen with an Eyland solo show on Friday 6 October 1-8 pm during Winnipeg's First Friday event. Hours: 1-5 pm Monday-Friday and also by appointment.

Library Gallery (AKA L'briary) 70 Arthur Street, Suite 540 (Silpit Building) Winnipeg, Canada. Library is an experimental, semi-public, non-profit irregular hours space adjacent to Cliff Eyland's studio. Receptions happen on most first Fridays from 1-8 PM. Telephone: 204 297-8421

The exhibition will feature recent works by Cliff Eyland (see images), including:

Optional Clothing Selfie Mirror, (any 22x87 1/2" mirror leaning against a

wall 5" away from the wall at bottom), 2017

House on an Island, 1978-2016, acrylic and oil on board, 17x24"

Treaty Landscapes with Sculptures and Crosses of Faith and Lost Faith,

2008-2017 (273 paintings arranged within an 11'x8' rectangle)

Optional Clothing Daydreaming Platform and Book Pyre, 2016-ongoing

(people are drawn and photographed in various states of dress while

daydreaming or napping) Materials = white MDF, artificial flowers, firewood.

Lincoln Blocks with thanks to Erika Lincoln, 2016 (viewers are encouraged

to rearrange 3x5" blocks)
