University of Winnipeg: Mennonite/s Writing VII:  Personal Narratives of Place and Displacement Conference, October 19 - 21

Acclaimed Manitoba authors Di Brandt, Dora Dueck, Maurice Mierau, David Elias and former Winnipegger Miriam Toews will be presenting at the upcoming literary conference, Mennonite/s Writing VII: Personal Narratives of Place and Displacement. The conference takes place October 19-21 at the University of Winnipeg, and is hosted by the UW Centre for Transnational Mennonite Studies. While the conference focusses on transnational Mennonite writing and culture, it is open to all people interested in excellent literary writing, and the "new Mennonite writing" in particular, and the featured authors warmly invite you to attend and support an openly multicultural approach to literary production and cultural life in this country, and everywhere.
