Kathleen Hiley Solo Projects celebrates a full length evening of rarely seen classic works by venerated dance pioneer, Isadora Duncan, and Canada's Mother of Modern Dance, Rachel Browne. This compelling evening of dance includes a diverse range of historic repertoire from these two great masters. Solo artist Kathleen Hiley, recognized for her dramatic, evocative and expressive interpretations by critics and audiences alike, is highlighted in this captivating program of physical, emotionally charged and stimulating choreography. The performance features Isadora Duncan's powerful Marche Slav. Kathleen Hiley honours the centennial anniversary and becomes the fourth woman in the Duncan lineage to perform this masterpiece. Guest Artist Alexander Tselyakov, is counted in the ranks of Canadaʼs leading concert pianists. He is of the highest technical and artistic ability and has received rave reviews naming him a "phenomenal pianist" having "a perfect artistic individuality". Kathleen Hiley Solo Projects premieres with the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts, the Manitoba Arts Council and the Winnipeg Arts Council.
