  • Experience INSURGENCE/RESURGENCE, the WAG's largest-ever exhibit of contemporary Indigenous art, which features an exciting scavenger hunt perfect for families.
  • Enjoy bilingual crafts and games.
  • Check out taxidermy northern animals from Fort Whyte Alive.
  • Admission to Arctic Chill Out is:
    • $20 per family (up to two adults and four children under 18 – includes entry to all the exhibitions)
    • $10 per family for WAG members

· The WAG is Canada's oldest civic art gallery and holds the largest public collection of contemporary Inuit art on earth.

· To celebrate the art, the people who make it, and the lands from which they come, the WAG is building the Inuit Art Centre, the first of its kind. The Centre will be a forum for exhibitions and programs, research and learning, studio practice and artmaking.

Starting to make spring break plans? The WAG offers a great line up of art camps for ages 6-12 from March 26 to 29. Visit for more details.

Arctic Chill Out offers families a fun way to learn more about the North while spending quality time together. This annual event supports the WAG's Inuit Art Centre initiative by celebrating the Arctic and engaging the public with Inuit art and culture.
