The Keep Theatre: Various Workshops, May 7, 14 and 28

The Keep Theatre is launching a drop-in workshop series, open to theatre students and emerging or established theatre artists who want to get together to sharpen their skills, or learn something brand new, and meet other artists in their community.

Where: Crescent Fort Rouge United Church (525 Wardlaw Ave)

When: Monday evenings, from 7-9PM. No registration required.
Cost: Only $10 per workshop!
Note: This space is up stairs, and is not currently accessible (though an elevator is in the church's future plans!) There are gendered facilities on the main floor.

Workshops for May 2018

Monday, May 7 - Keep Fit with Darren Martens
Keeping fit can feel like an elusive and expensive endeavour, but it doesn't have to be! Local actor and personal trainer Darren Martens will lead a fun workout and a relaxing cool-down, followed by a casual coffee chat. All fitness levels welcome!

Monday, May 14 - Audition Prep with Sharon Bajer
Sharon Bajer has been creating theatre as an actress, playwright, and director for over 25 years, and has plenty to share about the audition process. "What should I wear? Where do I find exciting monologues?" Come ask Sharon!
Monday, May 28 - Improv for Actors with RobYn Slade
This workshop will focus on being present and playful, using improvisation as an empowering and grounding tool for actors, led by Winnipeg improviser and actor, RobYn Slade.
