[SUPER]NATURAL: Recent Works by Rachel Schappert, Oct 5 - 30 at Tiny Gallery

Rachel Schappert is a multi-faceted Artist and community arts educator based in Winnipeg. Schappert has shown work and facilitated co-creative Art projects both locally and internationally. Her work often involves themes surrounding the interconnected relationships between people and nature— inspired by concepts of deep ecology, eco-feminism and ideas regarding the metaphysics of reality.

Through her Sculptural practice, Schappert seeks to playfully mediate between the world of 'the natural' and the world of 'the supernatural,' as each piece embodies animistic qualities that weave together a microcosmic ecosystem of elemental poetry.
