POSITION TITLE: Advertising, Media and Distribution

TERMS: Four days (32 hours) per week, in person, at $21.00 per hour

ROLE SUMMARY:

Border Crossings magazine is currently seeking a passionate and articulate individual to be responsible for the advertising sales, media maintenance and specialized retail distribution of a nationally and internationally recognized art magazine. This position reports directly to the magazine’s Editor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:

The position requires an organized individual who is creative and has excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Experience in a Mac environment, excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications

• Familiarity with web and social media tools such as Mailchimp, Instagram and ExpressionEngine, or other platforms

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Strong time and scheduling management

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well collaboratively and as a team member

• A general interest in local, national and international contemporary art and culture
