‘Into the Night: Lullabies and Morning Songs for the Troubled Earth’
Into the Night Lullabies and Morning Songs
For a Troubled Earth
April 19 - June 1, 2024
Opening Friday, April 19 at 7:30pm
River on the Run Artist Collective is back at the Gallery and they've invited some friends along, to help us think about mending the earth through the gentle, inter-generational practice of song.
Lullabies have long been a way to process the troubles of the day, replacing the worries with love.
Lullabies lead us into the night with hope for the Journey ahead, as well as a renewed spirit for the next mornings song.
Bob Haverluck, Rhian Brynjolson, and Sam Baardman call to the child in all of us, indeed all the human and non-human relations of the earth as they imagine ways into and through the night.
This exhibition will include several special events and incorporate a wide variety of expressions, feelings, and ways of knowing. Poetry, mindfulness, song, and art combine to embody these tender expressions of well-being for all.
