Open Call for Jane’s Walk 2025 Organizing Committee Volunteers (DEADLINE: February 24)

Calling all walk and community enthusiasts!

Jane’s Walk Winnipeg is looking for volunteers for our Organizing Committee to help plan this year’s Jane’s Walk festival.

Jane’s Walk is an annual festival of free, citizen-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs. On the first weekend of May every year, Jane’s Walk festivals take place in hundreds of cities around the world.

The Organizing Committee will:

• Identify new and experienced walk leaders and opportunities
• Help get the word out about Jane’s Walk Winnipeg
• Brainstorm new ideas to make this years Jane’s Walk the best yet!

If you are interested in joining the Organizing Committee, please send us a brief email with:

• A little bit about you and your interests/hobbies
• Your history with Jane’s Walk (if applicable)
• Why you would like to get involved.
