Lumen/Phytogram Workshop
Loading map...
This Lumen/Phytogram workshop requires no previous knowledge or photography equipment!! This cameraless photography technique uses black and white resin coated paper (used for printing in the darkroom). The Lumen process only requires objects placed onto the paper to then expose using sunlight or a bright lamp. We will be exposing the prints outside at the Assiniboine Park Duck Pond but is subject to change depending on the weather. Phytograpms are similar to lumens except require an extra step of soaking your organic materials in a solution of water, vitamin c powder, and washing soda before placing it onto the paper. After the lumen or phytogram is exposed for an appropriate amount of time it will then be fixed.
