Cheryl L’Hirondelle has sustained a ground-breaking career for 42 years in a variety of contemporary disciplines, from punk bands to public art while staying true to tradition and Cree Worldview. Cheryl’s use of language and land as a launch pad for such an incredible body of interdisciplinary work, includes being a recipient of the 2021 GG Award in Visual Art.
