Budget $118,000

The Winnipeg Arts Council invites artists from across Canada to submit Expressions of Interests to create a public artwork for the new Windsor Park Library.  The selected artist/team will create a permanent artwork to be integrated with an interior feature wall connected to the library’s multi-purpose room.

F.A.Q. Answers
Canadian artists wishing to team with international partners are eligible to submit an Expression of Interest for this opportunity. Here are some considerations for an international team:

  • the lead artist must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • if you are shortlisted, travel within Canada will be provided to the lead Canadian artist to present the team’s detailed proposal in Winnipeg in March.
  • if you are selected for the final commission, the contract between the lead Canadian artist, the City of Winnipeg and Winnipeg Arts Council will be in Canadian dollars.
