Job Posting: Project Coordinator – YouTube Channel for DOC Manitoba

We’re seeking a highly organized and creative Project Coordinator to manage the development of an exciting new YouTube channel showcasing locally produced documentary films on a short-term contract. This role involves coordinating and connecting with filmmakers and editors, sourcing productions, overseeing uploads and metadata, managing social media promotion, and helping to secure partnerships along with other duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Manage content calendar, video uploads, and publishing schedules

• Research and initiate contact with local filmmakers

• Coordinate agreements with filmmakers and oversee deliverables

• Write engaging titles, descriptions, and thumbnails

• Assist with marketing and community engagement

• Oversee and track development budget and expenses

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational, writing and communication skills

• Experience managing digital video files and social media platforms

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Passion for the local filmmaking community and Manitoba produced documentaries

• Familiarity with YouTube best practices and analytics an asset, but not essential

Details:

• Part-time term contract: Sept 2 – Nov 30, 2025

• Remote/hybrid flexibility
