Manager of Sistema Winnipeg (Deadline)
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the planning and implementation of the Sistema Winnipeg program.
2. Develop and manage partnerships with the WSO, schools, and community organizations.
3. Supervise program staff, including Teaching Artists and Site Coordinators.
4. Oversee scheduling, logistics, inventory, and student data systems.
5. Manage program budget and support fundraising, grants, and reporting.
6. Coordinate internal and external communications, including social media and marketing.
7. Promote equity, diversity, and accessibility throughout the program.
8. Build strong relationships with students, families, and community partners.
9. Represent Sistema Winnipeg at public events, panels, and within the national Sistema Canada Network.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
1. A post-secondary degree in Music and/or Education, and/or an Arts Management degree or diploma (or equivalent).
2. Fluent in English. Functional French is desirable but not a requirement.
3. Ability to balance multiple priorities successfully.
4. Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
5. Experience with event and program planning and implementation.
6. Experience working with educators and community partners.
7. Experience with budget development and management, and proven experience with grant writing and reporting, and funder relations.
8. Ability to read music, an appreciation for and experience with classical music is an asset.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
10. Must hold a Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License and have reliable and consistent access to a vehicle (proof of insurance required).
