The 12th Annual Winnipeg Underground Film Festival

The 12th edition of the Winnipeg Underground Film Festival runs June 5–8, 2025, featuring four days of screenings and expanded cinema performances. This year’s lineup includes four shorts programs curated by WUFF, the return of the beloved 90 Second Film Program, and a guest-curated selection by Vancouver’s XINEMA. Saturday’s events highlight a screening and reading by artist and arts worker Lily Jue Sheng, and a live expanded cinema performance by UK artists Guy Sherwin and Lynn Loo, co-presented with the Winnipeg Film Group in celebration of their 50th anniversary. Sunday includes the Manitoba premiere of Think at Night by local filmmaker Greg Hanec.
