Sustainability Stroll: Fort Garry Campus Walking Tour

Join the University of Manitoba's Office of Sustainability for a 1 hour guided stroll around the Fort Garry campus to see the collaborative efforts of UM students, staff, and faculty in advancing sustainability on campus. This walk is an opportunity to share knowledge and inspire action to create a more sustainable future.

The Office of Sustainability supports sustainability across the entire institution, bringing the University community together to move forward with positive action. Showcasing this are stops like the Buller Greenhouse, Raven Medicine Cloud Gateway, ArtLab, Central Energy Plant, Permaculture Garden, UMCycle Kiosk, Active Living Centre, and Migizii Agamik - the first building on campus to receive Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification .

Meeting Place

Tour will start from the sidewalk in front of UMSU University Centre, 65 Chancellors Circle. Walk Leader will be holding signage.

Accessibility

Some of the sidewalks will be busy and there are a few optional stops that are located on grass.
