Nominations are now closed for the 18th annual Winnipeg Arts Council Awards.
The Winnipeg Arts Council Awards celebrate the artists, arts administrators, and patrons whose dedication makes Winnipeg a centre for cultural achievement.
The 2025 Awards celebration was held as part of the Mayor’s Luncheon for the Arts on Thursday, June 5th at the RBC Winnipeg Convention Centre.
Three awards recognized the excellence and creativity in the arts:
- The RBC ON THE RISE Award will honour an emerging professional Winnipeg artist in any discipline.
- The MAKING A MARK Award will honour an established professional Winnipeg artist in any discipline.
- The MAKING A DIFFERENCE Award will honour an individual who has made a significant contribution to the growth and development of the arts in Winnipeg. New for 2025: This may be an artist, arts administrator, arts educator, supporter or volunteer.
